Joe Colopy’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to create Bronto Software in 2002, using his spare bedroom as the company’s first headquarters. Bronto has grown quickly since then, becoming the leading platform for commerce marketing, and now employs over 240 people, with headquarters in Durham, N.C. and offices in New York, London and Sydney.

Such expansion, however, hasn’t compromised Bronto’s values. While it’s been on the Inc 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies for 6 straight years, Bronto is also a 9-time finalist for the Stevie Award for “Best Customer Service Department” and a 3-time CODiE finalist.

Joe was named one of the Triangle Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” and has been a finalist for the “Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Carolinas” and “North Carolina Tech Association Exec of the Year” awards.
